Rock Creek Craftsmen…Kevin Meek… is a cut above. I have seen the restoration he and his staff did at Magnolia Plantation on the slave cabins for which he received the prestigious Palmetto Trust Award. They have done restoration work on a property of historic significance that my partner and I have listed on Ashley Ave. The heart pine floors were in such bad shape that another contractor recommended ripping them out and starting from scratch. Rock Creek Craftsmen restored them instead. Now they are a gorgeous asset to the property. They may specialize in historic restoration but they are a fully licensed general contracting company and are capable of minor home repairs up to and including commercial upfitting.
